Introduction

Welcome to Global WorkWiz. By using our digital referral platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Usage. Please review the terms carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use this platform.

Definitions

  • “Platform” refers to Global WorkWiz, including its website and mobile applications.

  • “Users” refers to General Practitioners (GPs), Specialists, Allied Healthcare Professionals (AHPs), and other healthcare providers who use the Platform.

  • “Patient” refers to any individual whose medical information is handled via the Platform.

  • “Content” refers to any data, information, or materials uploaded, posted, or transmitted through the Platform.

  • “Account”: The User’s subscription account for services with Global WorkWiz.

  • “User Data”: Any information provided by the User to Global WorkWiz, including personal and patient data.

  • “Confidential Information”: All non-public information designated as confidential or that should be understood as confidential.

  • “Personal Data”: Personally identifiable information of patients, including names, addresses, financial information, and medical histories.

  • “PDPA”: The Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore.

  • “Third-Party Service Providers”: Other clinics, laboratories, suppliers, or businesses providing services beneficial to the User.

User Responsibilities

  • Eligibility: Users must be registered healthcare professionals authorized to practice in Singapore.

  • Account Security: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities under their account.

  • Accurate Information: Users must provide accurate and complete information when creating referrals or managing patient data. Any deliberate misinformation may result in termination of access to the Platform.

  • Compliance:

    • Comply with all relevant privacy legislation.

    • Obtain necessary consents from patients for data use.

    • Use the services for internal operations only.

Services Provided

Global WorkWiz offers a digital referral process for general practitioners, specialists, and allied healthcare workers. The services include:

  • Referral management

  • Professional profile

  • Secure communication

  • Data storage and analytics

Acceptable Use

  • Compliance with Laws: Users agree to use the Platform in compliance with all applicable Singaporean laws, including the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Act, Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), and other relevant healthcare regulations.

  • Prohibited Activities: Users shall not misuse the Platform for unauthorized purposes, including but not limited to: sharing false or misleading information, unauthorized access to patient records, or engaging in activities that could compromise patient safety.

Patient Safety and Data Protection

Global WorkWiz is committed to protecting the confidentiality of User Data. We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption, to protect data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or modification.

  • Confidentiality: Users are required to uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality. All patient data must be handled securely in accordance with the PDPA and other relevant regulations.

  • Data Usage: Patient data may only be used for the purpose of providing healthcare services and improving patient care. Unauthorized disclosure or misuse of patient data is strictly prohibited.

  • Reporting Issues: Users must immediately report any breaches or security issues that may affect patient safety or data integrity.

Platform Usage

  • Referral Process: Users must follow the Platform’s protocols for creating, managing, and completing patient referrals. Non-compliance with these protocols may result in referral delays or errors.

  • System Availability: While Global WorkWiz strives to maintain a high level of service availability, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to the Platform. Scheduled maintenance or unforeseen issues may result in temporary downtime.

Limitation of Liability

Global WorkWiz is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform, including but not limited to errors in patient referrals, unauthorized access to patient data, or service interruptions.

Termination

Global WorkWiz reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform for any User who violates these Terms of Usage or engages in any activity that compromises patient safety or data security.

Changes to Terms

Global WorkWiz may update these Terms of Usage from time to time. Users will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Usage are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singaporean courts.
